Thats awesome! With all those metal halides you should be able to watch your coral grow!! I can't wait to see some pics of the tank once its done cycling and you start to add coral. Also how big of a fuge are you gonna have.

russian spy: try marine depot....they have the 20k's....
Kistheeze: they are computer fans so its really just a little louder than a big computer (like the buzzing noise you here)
yea its alot of light i am hopeing to get good color and growth by mixing 10k and 20k.......
and hopefully my cycle will only be a few days cuz i am using live rock and some live sand from my current tank......
fuge is still going to be 15g........i have had mine for a while and it doesn't seem to really work (i suppose for a 55g i would need about a 900g refuge to make it on a scale that works).....its nice to have a small safe placce for pods and stuff though..........i am also culturing rotifers and phyto to keep my sps fed.......i think a big skimmer works better than anysize fuge too
and yea i am hopeing to get good growth with my clac. reactor plus all these lights (i am trying rowaphos too, lower phospates better growth)

I starting up a nano, and I feel like I just looked up from my sandcastle to see a skyscraper! Very impressive  Post pictures as things get added. I'd like to see how a tank that large develops.

i couldn't make a way to blow the air at the water.....the fans don't rotate..........but i should be fine with cooling sense the 55g sumps is in the basement....plus i can add a few fans to that if i need to.....
also i may drop them down more.....tonight i am testing to see if the 20k and 10k are mixed and not stripped with this height.......i think if i lower it anymore you would notice the dif. temp in the water (part of the water would be blue and other part white)......i will see when i do the test when it gets darker
its a very nice color with the mix...i would suggest everyone that can do it too.....good growth and good color

well i tested them and they seemed pretty well blended at the surface of the water....there was a small line of blue and a small line of yellow.....but ones it hits the rock it should be totally blended..........kip what is the height of that tank you drew???????
oh and i am going to lower them tonight and do another test to see how that works
Thanks
Brad
