Is that a French-Imperator hybrid?

Which one? Definately not a French imperator as these two species don't share the same habitat. T

Post 23 5th picture. Well I thought the same thing, it is not impossible after all we now have Yellow Tangs here in Florida. I am sure there is an Imperator or two

When fish hybridize, that is breed with another species within it's own genus, the main reason is that there isn't enough viable fish within their own species to breed with. So the chances of that happening with a fish that is an aquarium release or a rogue fish is about 1,000,000,000 to one. That fish in that picture I believe is a emperator X annularis. Not positive though. T

At first glance the first pic looks like a Clipperton Angel....The Queen/Blue color morph is about as cool.
