i really dont know why everyone worries when they cant find one of the billion crabs or snails they have in their huge tanks. it could be anywhere in the tank, under a rock, in the sand, somewhere you cant see it. no reasons to worry about a missing invert every time you cant see one. i only see 1 or 2 of my snails or hermits when i look into my tank, if that

I don't know...snails and hermits, yeah. But horseshoe crabs are more sizable, and don't have as many options for places to go as hermits and such. So I would be concerned if it may be dead or something, or be wondering where it was.
