Can someone tell me about this fish and what they eat?

They get very big and they usually dont last more than a month or two.
Not sure about diet

i have 2 in my tank.. they have been fine. they seem to live under the sand bed and eat what ever it is they eat under there.. i think wasted food like other crabs.. mine do not come out very much .. every once in a while you see them at night after the lights go out..just my opinion though.. good luck.. mine are pretty neat to look at.. kinda wierd looking too.

i have one he comes out from under the sand bed in the afternoon and its fun to watch them swim to the top
