Can I keep a HS crab in a tank with CC substrate?

I've had one before but it was on LS. I'm not really sure, but when i got mine it was on a CC bed, haha but then again you can never tell if its right just becase the LFS does it right? lol I wouldn't do it cause they like to bury themselves alot, and they coulnt do it in CC.

i had one in DSB then took him out after i found out he was killing me live sand he is now in another tank with CC and sometimes stays buried for days and has had no problems digging and getting around
