I saw a couple of these in a tank at my local fish store. They werent that big. Once my tank is cycled I would like a couple. How big do they get? What do they eat? Any speciala care needed?

i don't think that anyone on this board will tell you that they are a good idea. they dig, make a mess, and get big.
how big is your tank?

yeah, i wouldn't get one if i were you. a horseshoe crab could easily wreck a pile of rock in a 25 gal.
they are an interesting species though.

If you lived in Florida you would never even consider getting one of these. The ones you see on the beaches are usually 1-2 feet in length. Plus they would need special care for feeding. They're food source is in the mollusca.
