Horseshoe Help

My Horse shoe crab is acting really wierd, when i first got him he buried himself in the sand and stayed there. Now ive had him for at least 4 mounts and no all the sudden he is out and running around the bottem is this normall or is something wrong with him?

He might have eaten everything in the sand and is searching for more food. Horseshoe crabs normally dont last very long in home tanks since they eat a lot and get VERY big. IMO return it to the LFS.

they do get big. They are excellent scavengers, just need a big tank. Big tank.

Yep he is most likely looking for food. Try giving him a piece krill, shrimp or squid. That is what i used to give mine.
