hospital tank

HI I have a 120 gal tank.I need to set up a hospital tank for the the new fish......is a ten gal large enough.. I have a 40 gal tank, but its a bit big for the space.The 120 takes up a lot of room.
What do you think?

I use a 10 gallon but I have small fish. If you have large fish you might need a 20 gallon tank or larger.
