Can anyone tell me the best way that they know/used to get a true percula clown to host in a green Bubble tip anemone? I already tried that picture thing, where you put a picture of another clownfish in an anemone on the side of the tank.
Can anyone help?? I really want it to host!!
Thanks!

picture method seems the best way to go. keep the picture up for a good while, in time your clown should jump right in. took my clown 2 weeks to "get the picture" haha. ok that was lame but dont give up.

I wish I could give you some info, my Perc jumped right in when I put it in. Only bad problem was when the anenome died. The LFS sold me the wrong one. Said it was a BTA but they gave me a Ritteri.

Give it some time. I think it took my false percs about 4 or 5 weeks till they started hosting. I left the pics up for two weeks, then about three weeks after I took them down they slowly started to host. New additions should start hosting right away if at least one is already hosting. I lost one perc, died during the move to a new tank. The solitary clown then stopped hosting. When I added a replacement clown they both started hosting right away.
Maybe your fish won't host at all. But give it some time.
