What determines if a clown is hosting something? Any particular behavoir?
I have 2 juvenile maroon clowns. One hangs around a powerhead most of the day, the other almost always is a few inches within a particular rock. Every night he/she seems to sleep down inside the rock. I have no corals or anenomes at the moment but could my clown be hosting this rock?
I read somewhere that psusocr1 has a clown that hosts live rock. Is this common?

Clowns need to form a simbolic relationship with something. Its in their nature for protection. They will often adopt a powerhead or cleaning magnet ect. and hang and sleep near it.

Well, I guess one of them is hosting the rock and the other a PH. Any problems trying to feed near what they are hosting?

They often will get protective of their host. Mine will bite me if I get my hand too close to the anemone.
I hope the powerhead has a sponge filter or something so it want suck up the fish.
