Depends on what kind of glue...what are the ingredients? Are they toxic?
BTW what do you have to glue? there are lots of "fish" safe glues out there

It says no toxic the ingredients arent listed but it also says safe if in contact with food.
I need to glue a hose to a pump I bought since its not a tight fit.

I've used the regular hobby hot glue in fresh water on many occassions with no ill effects. I've glued tons of rock to plants to keep my pain in the rear red devils from knocking everything everywhere....It says non toxic on it and it has zero smell. Not that my nose is calibrated scientifically or anything, but most bad things smell..well, bad.

I am by no means a glue expert..LOL...But let me add one small thing....what works in FW does not always work with SW....It seems the salt has different effects on all kinds of stuff.....I am sure there are people who can probably elaborate

you can use hot glue . i have in fact if you do a search on how to make your own artifacts for y our fish tank most will say to use hot glue to glue parts together. but i would def still read and make sure its non toxic glue sticks just to make sure. but i have used hot glue for some things i have made for my tank and no ill affects at all.
