HOT protein skimmer recommendation

Hey everyone!
My skimmer seems to be giving up on me so I was hoping I could get some recommendations on what to purchase. I don't have a sump so I guess I'd need a hang-on model and I'd like to stay below 300 bucks (since I'm a broke med student). Oh and my tank is a 75 gallon reef!

2 recommendations for you:
1. CPR Bak Pak 2 reef ready (I use this one and love it)
2. AquaC Remora
Both are well under $200, and you could get great deals off of ----.
If you get the CPR, I would get rid of the crappy RIO pump it comes with and replace it with Maxi-jet.

I also use the CPR BakPak 2r with 2 chambers. It does a wonderful job and sell for 150 on up. The only negative on this one is the maintenance. The pumps tend to pull in everything and because of the way there made it has eluded me on how to add some type of filter to it.
Still really pleased with the way it works.:jumping: :jumping:

I have a remora and actually put on a bigger pump than it comes with. Put a rio 1400 on it and it came with a maxijet 1200, it works even better now
