What do you guys recommend as the time the light should be on? my tank does really well with it on for about 7 hours. no slime, algae, or any other crap grows out of control. but if for one day i leave it on for 10 hours, my glass is covered.
what are y'all suggestions on how long to leave your light on? i have some corals btw

I have p.c. I start with the actinic on at 10:30am - 10:30pm, then the 10,000k on from 11:00am - 10:00pm, then my t-5's which are the brightest come on around 12:00n - 9:00pm
I am curious to see what others think. I wonder if mine are on too long?

10-12 hours IMO... I like the way your lights come off and on bkvreef!! I run my PCs for 12 hours a day.

I run a 6 bulb T5 setup. Actinics come on at 1PM, Daylight bulbs come on at 2PM. Daylights go off at 10PM and Actinics go off at 11PM

I run 384w of pc lighting. Have RBTA, and multitude of softies and LPS.
Actinics come on at 7:00am go off at 10:00pm
10,000k come on at 11:00am and go off at 8:00pm
Bulbs are changed out once a year.
I do have to run the magna float over the 3 sides every other day. No hair or slime algae anywhere.
