Houston Area Reefers?

I live in Katy and have a 55 FOWLR. I hear there's a group called MARSHreef or something that consists of Houston Reefers. You could check that out.

Im out in Katy. Currently have a Biocube 29 with mostly corals... Only started a couple of weeks ago... I used to have a 55 and a 75 when I lived in Florida last year, but I figured it was going to be too complicated with the move... so I sold everything.... I bought a biocube and I'm happy with it.. easy maintenance...
Can you recommend any stores? I'm surprised there's none in the Katy Area... I usually stop by Fish Land a couple of times a week since it's right next to my office... Been taking little "road trips" the last couple of weeks to visit the others... Yesterday I went to 45 South... Nice stores, specially Bay Area Aquarium and All about Fish... wasn't too crazy about Megans... but it's nice to have so much selection within 5 minutes of each other... definetively worth the drive...

How has your experience been with FishLand? Just found out about it the other day. Have you ever been over to Aquarium World? Nice store. Little pricey however. I was thinkg to myself the other day that we need a nice Saltwatere store here in Katy.

Hi I live in League City near Houston
MARSHREEF is a very helpful site and the people are really nice too. I just went to Aquarium World today and the selection of fish and coral blew my mind. Everything was so well cared for and there is even a seven day guarantee on saltwater fish purchases.

In the galleria area. Get most of my stuff from Aquarium World and Fish Gallery, with the latter being an incredible store but can be pricy unless you take advantage of their online discounts and sales. I've also picked up some pretty cheap frags from a store called City Pets on Beechnut by BW 8 (southwest).

I live in Katy and after looking around decided to stay with T&T on Hwy 6 / Bellaire.
There is a place with interesting/rare inverts at FM1960 aprox two miles from 249 going to Jones Rd named BB Fish&Pets.
Also in that area there is a place that was about to reopen at Jones Rd aprox 1 mile from 290, I think named Aquarium Store but not certain if it is open yet.

Aquarium world is a great place to get a fish with a text book example of Ich. Wouldn't buy from there. MARSH is pretty active, and there are a lot of users from there on here too, eklikewhoa alexmir to name a couple.
The "new store" off of jones is an old one that closed, and they hopefully are gutting and rebuilding it. B/c it was pretty well VERY nasty...
