Houston... Ithink I have a baby mantis and I mean baby

i took some pics will post them soon but its sorta clear, shrimp like. less them 5mm long the only thing is that it has the mantis looking arms folded under the front...

it was hard to get a pic but i also need to add i have found 20 plus now in this one filter different sizes i had a peppermint release babys awhile back but these look different then them.... sorry for the bad pic

The picture I posted may not be a Gammarus Shrimp, but thats what the person called it awhile back on this board so...

The critters pictured are Gammarus Amphipods aka Gammarus Shrimp. Everyone was correct.

yeah they are great to have in a tank because they reproduce and by doing this provide food for your fish, but they also eat detritus and algae!
