when i first got my dogface he did the same thing for a day or two he still isnt very active,he finds a good spot in the rocks and blows up a little and just hangs out until feeding time.i feed him krill,shrimp(from grocery store shells on) clams (whole,for fun i dont even open sometimes,he goes crazy but gets them open ,and any other shellfish is just fine,his favorite is scallops but finding them fresh is hard sometimes,i have a fish market that will keep them shelled for me sometimes. i even threw a live blue crab in there(i rubber banded its claws)and the puffer and trigger kicked his butt and had a feast.they are not picky eaters so give him time to adjust and he will probally be fine
