I had one for about a year, did pretty much the same as Kipass4130's. Mine died though-I would have kept him had he not.

Mine is definetly aggressive towards other types of shrimp and somewhat towards everything else that comes close.Everyone says only 1 in a tank. I have not seen him attack anything ,but as the others said he will get the bristleworms and other sandworms. Some say that bristles are bad some say good .I have bristle worms and have never had a problem with them. I have the coral banded to kinda keep them in check.

Yeah, what Kipass said... I HAD some bristol worms... I got my CBS around 7 months ago. Make sure you feed him enough meaty foods. If not, they will lose their large claws when they molt. I hand-feed mine. He holds on to my wrist while he eats from my hand. Same with most of my fish too. Good iodine levels are needed to keep them happy and healthy, so I have heard. Mine seldom go at my fish, but he has nailed the yellow watchman a few times. It's only a flesh wound! Good choice in my opinion. Or you can spend a little more and get a GOLD CBS, more docile from what I have heard.

I've had mine for about 8 months now. He's big and very agressive towards other shrimps, but he can't move as fast as other shrimps though. I have 1 CBS, 2 fires, and 2 cleaners in a 100g tank and never had any problem. The CBS would attack any one that comes close to him or he'd retreat if felt dangerous. He'll eat all kindda stuff that i throw in and is very hardy.

I've had mine for about a year now and seems to be doing very well...never seems to bother anything in the tank, not even the bristle worms....Mine ussally eats regualr flake foods, and really loves when i throw in some frozzen meaty food...mostly scavenges for food when i turn the lights off though....its a great addition to a tank....
