How are my specs?

I have a 3 week old 10 gallon Nano. Things could not be better.(I think) I had put it together with 15lbs of LR and 10lbs of LS. I am not using a skimmer at the moment. I have one of those "hang on the back" style filters with the bio wheel on it. Sorry, I don't have a model.
Lighting: Coralife 96 watt
KH- 20
PH- 8.4
Gravity- 1.025
Nitrate- 30
Nitrite- 0
Calcium- 375
Ammonia- 0
I have added 10 hermit style crabs and in about a week and a half, they have cleaned up the rocks nicely.
I havent done any water changes yet, but I think I will tonight to try and get rid of the trates.
I have an idea in mind and I would like to add 1 coral (or shroom) of some type, an anemone of some sort, and a pair of clowns. Is this possible without doing too much at one time?
If you got this far, thanks for your time

i think the eater all good . do a water change to get the nitrates down. i wouldint add a anemone that early, they need an established tank. how many watts of lighting?
the clowns would be fine.
ive heard that if u put a pic of clowns hosting an anemone on the tank it will help them host
any more ?'s

The cal. is a little low and the trates are a little high but its sounding good. As far as the anemone they really require an established system, like 6 months in or so. They will not like the trates and will be hard to keep with any fluctiation in water qualitity. Think I would hold off for a while but the clowns can go in but I would say 1 at a time and 3 to 4 weeks before the other goes in.

The lighting is a Coralife 96 watt.
Ok, this kinda gives me an idea of how I want to go about adding fish.
Thanks guys!

Your kH is way off the charts. The highest you possibly want it is 12. Are you buffering anything in your tank right now? If so, stop and begin doing water changes. Your calcium is a tad low, your nitrates are a bit high, and your alk is terribly off. Correct these things before you put anyting into the tank.

lion_crazz........sorry about the confusion!!!! I put the KH reading where the PH was supposed to be. Sorry about that, does it look better now?
Thanks guys, you all are awesome!

Alk is basically the same thing as kH. kH is just another way to measure alkalinity.
You said your kH was 20, which is very high.

No, I am pretty sure you had them right the first time.
pH is usually measued in decimal places, 8.0, 8.2, 8.4, etc. while kH is measured in whole numbers, with 8-12 being the safe range.

Yes you are right, I had to go get the bottle and personally check that I didn't have them mixed up. I will change them back. I am going to trtake the kH and see what I come up with.
Sorry once again for the mix up.

No problem

Are you adding any kind of buffer to your tank?

Yes, I was. I rechecked it and it was about 17. I did a 25% water change so we will see how much that changed it. I bet it dropped it down a little.
Thanks!

Just for future reference, anytime you add anything to your tank that raises/lowers levels, check your levels while you are doing it.
Good luck with getting your levels under control.
