How big are your Emerald Crabs?

My emerald molted a few days ago and had since been laying low, which was no surprise. But last night, as I was sneaking past the tank on my way to the kitchen to fix a midnight snack, I was shocked to see a massive green claw emerge from under the rockwork. Spooky. I cannot believe how HUGE this guy is now. He's easily at 2.5" wide, which I thought was the maximum. Is he going to get bigger? How big have your emeralds been?

Yep, same thing here. A small sub-1" crab quickly turning into The Amazing Hulk!

The one I had in my 29g got to be about 2", and then about 2 weeks ago it died

My crab is the size of a nickel. It is the survivor of 5. Not sure what happened to the other 4 but they are gone.

Mine is also a gigantic 2.5" and I'm praying that he doesn't get any bigger. He was the size of a nickel, maybe a little smaller when I got him, and that was about 9 months ago. I had not seen him for a long time and was convinced he was dead until like you, one night I saw a giant green claw emerge from under a coral.
