i am sure all the different types of clowns grow to different sizes. as you research alot of websites will tell you the max size they grow to. most of your clowns grow to around 5-6 inches max.

Í don't know about in a nano tank but I just saw some black and white occelaris that was at least 7 inches at a LFS (the female was) and the male was prolly 5..........they were huge!! They were in a 75 gallon tank by themselves.......they said she was mean as hell too.......

Mean huh, I read somewhere they were in the damsel family. If that is true it would explain why they get mean.
My little fish are sweet hearts. They show whose territory is whose, but then all is at peace again.
I guess the guy who said 18 inches was exaggerating a little.

I have a mated pair of Ocellaris that are around 3 inches. They have been in my 110g for at least 2 years. How fast do they normally grow? Have I somehow stunted their growth? They must be smokers......

Even for a maroon clown, that seems really steep. Ocellaris clownfish are the "nemo" type...or just call them false percula (like that's any easier).
They are sweet hearts when they are young...but wait until they're older

For me the female is 5 inches and the male is 3...I think that's probably pretty close to the norm.
