At least 3 different species of angelfish, could fall under "yellow tail." Which one do you mean?
Whitetailed Pygmy - Centropyge flavicauda
Cream - Apolemichthys xanthurus
False Personifier - Chaetodontoplus meredithi

You're welcome. And good luck with it. A healthy diet and lots of care can help cure HLLE.

Males about 6" max in a home aquarium. Some have been found around 8"-9" in the wild.

all is well
I had 3 tangs with hlle...and with a good diet, various vitamins, and excellent water quality they have all recovered.
If you go to the disease section and look up HLLE...the sailfin pictured is mine

lol..... yes, Paiden is our little minow. She has really steped up to the plate with this little fish. Our fish guy was going to destroy it because of the HLLE and we adopted it. Paidey has since changed over from freshwater into SW using her 29g biocube, She is in the process of cycling and removed the raw shrimp this a.m. for her ammonia was 1.00. She continues to check the QT parameters as well and discovered the pH and ammonia is the enemy. I am very proud of her taking on this task. I hope she mentioned this but the fishes name is Coral, the Cream angel and for 4 days has been trying to get it to eat with no luck. She discovered if you take the turkey baster and put the food in front of the fish, she will eat. The fish, .... er uhm.... Coral ate 7 bites this afternoon. YIPEE for Paidey and Coral. So proud!!
