how can you tell?

i need to buy a mh bulb and dont know which one will match my ballast. all i know is it is 250 watts.can some body help me?

Need to know more about the ballast.

what kind of bulb are you using now? I'd say any mogul base bulb will work on your ballast unless your running an Iwasaki bulb (MV) or its an old Ice Cap ballast.

well i think i found out.does a magnetic m58 sound right? i hope so i just bought a 14 k hamilton tech bulb for it.
