How did you find out there was no Santa?

My parents told me and my sister to go wait in the car (we were going to church). As we were in the parking lot in the army base waiting, we saw my parents through the window putting presents under the tree.

Great, you just ruined it for me. Ha! Actually i do my part every year and donate several freshly harvested DEER to the program that feeds soup kitchens and also venison goes to the prision systems too. I always go over board for the Toys For Tots program as well.

My Girlfriends son just turned 9. We have not told him yet. As to why I have no Idea. He knows something is up but has never asked. It is about time we tell him, but it is hard to ruin a good thing. As for his dad telling him. Ha. His dad is a lush. (Thats another LONG story) Sending his son to school in high waters pants that have not fit him in 2 years. So I bought 4 pairs. now let him B!tch now......His priorities are all messed up. Not like he will ever tell him.

i know this thread is a little old, but i would like to contribute. I do not remember finding out that Santa doesn't exist, so i must have been preeety young. However, i have a great story about my littlest sister. She was 11 and still believed in Santa, the Toothfairy, and the Easter Bunny... she kept getting in fights at school when kids would say there's no such thing as santa, so we decided it was time to tell her... We sat her down and simply said "Erica, there's no such thing as Santa, the Toothfairy, or the Easter Bunny. Mommy and Daddy do all of that stuff." She sat there for a while, not saying anything, and then finally I asked her "So, do you still believe?" to which she replied, "Well, I don't believe in the Toothfairy, I kinda believe in Santa, but i DO believe in the Easter Bunny"... I was like "Out of all of those choices, you believe that a giant rabbit comes through the front door and hides a basket of goodies for you to find???" I couldn't believe it!!! LMAO!

You do not tell him. You wait for him to ask and then you lie! He'll find out soon enough on his own.
