how do aptasia get in our tanks?

just noticed i have 1 small aptasia way in the back of my tank. how did it get there? i've bought a octopus hammer, pink tip frogspawn and a pink carnation in the past month. did it immigrate in on one of those?(it's on the other side of the 90 was away from those corals)
anyway, i went right out and bought 3 peppermint shrimp. hopfully they will nip the problem in the bud!

They hitchhike in on about anything... and once in can pop up pretty much anywhere. Good luck getting them early!

i dont like those lil buggers!!! they are a nusence! well, actually they bother me that much! they irritate my husband though!! lol. he is the one who has to deal with it not me! they come in on the rocks and stuff we get from the lfs we get from everyonce in a while. instead of getting shrimp my husband boils water and squirts them. they dont like that much!!! but it gets them gone!!
