how do feather dusters reproduce?

Yes, Sperm and eggs are released into the water. Fertilization occurs in open water. The surviving fertilized eggs, if any, will become your new dusters.
 
I didn't see it but have had it happen in my tank. I have 4 new feather dusters in the past week or so...only had one before that. All kinds of things reproducing in my tank...snails, emerald crabs, peppermint shrimp...they must be having parties when the lights go out!
