How do guys attach stuff?

I am struggling keeping my new coral attached to my live rock. Some of my ricordia came on this soft rock like stuff and I have tried epoxy (two fish) with no luck. It does not want to stick to the ricordia underside our my live rock.
Also I have a pink birdnest that came wit a plastic plug I have an ideal spot but don't know how to attach. I am guessing the epoxy will not work but have not tried it on the ORA pluggs?
any help appreciated.

I never had much luck with the epoxy either. Super glue works rather well. You do have to dab it dry. Put glue on both surfaces you are putting together and hold for about 30 seconds.

and super glue gel? Can you get the gel anywhere? My wife picked up some super glue at the grocery but I was not aware there is another form that I should be using.
What do you guys do if you have to attach it to live rock you can't take out of your system, wet?
BTW I really appreciate you guys, I have no LFS on no one in my area I can ask, I have read a bunch yet have gained much wisodom reading these boards and asking a few questions. Thanks again.

I use regular super glue. The gel may be easier to work with cuz it may not "run" like the reg. stuff. Also, you will have to do a search to find it, cuz I don't remember the name,but there is a thread on here in which someone spoke of a super glue that works underwater!!
