hey,
I just added moon lights on my tank about 2 months ago and it did not bother anyone in my tank. I think it actually helped so I could see the night time critters come out. I mounted them in my strip light. I just got the lunar lights the ones that you can add extra links too. I set one every 1 ft and it seems to work great. I was very glad that I got them and would recomend them. May not work for everyone but I loved them.

Moon lights should not harm or disturb anythng. i HAVE MOON LIGHTING ON MY 2 GAL pico TANK and at night its super looking.......Most folks attach to strip lights or up inside hood. Varous angles can be used for different looks so there is really no one set way to postion them. I lean towards mounting mine so they shine on an angle, and on the shady side they create shadows which also look neat.

You will definately have no problems adding moonlights. IMO they make that tank look cooler at night. You get to see all the little night time critters, and since you have 2 true percs... night time is the time they GET IT ON!!!

Coralife makes a plug in unit, works good, prices vary from vendor to vendor....and there are all kinds listed on the various forums related to saltwater fish keeping.LOts of folks homebrew their own, and many kits are offered....Look in the clasified section here and a fellow out of Alabama is offering a nice kit if you can solder etc for $14 delivered. ANy of them will fit over your tank, its just a matter of deciding where you want them and making a mount which is very simple or if you have a hood or strip light a simple screw or a dab of silicone is sufficient.
