How do I delete songs from my ipod video

I'm pretty sure they're just like every other i-pod. You need to hook it up to I-tunes. It'll pull your i-pod up and you can delete the songs from there. just plug your i-pod in the usb port and then find your i-pod tab in i-tunes and click the songs so they highlight and click the delete key. Should be that simple.

It will automatically sync with Itunes unless you have the software to control it independantly. When the IPOD is plugged in to the PC bring up Itunes and delete the tracks you dont want in Itunes, it will automatically sync to the IPOD so both match. My hard drive crased after I loaded the IPOD now if I re-install Itunes it will automatically erase what is stored on the IPOD. Fortunately patch software is availible to prevent it from dumping when connects to Itunes.

yep, just go to prefrences BEFORE you plug your ipod in, and change it. then you'll have to manually add new songs to your ipod and MANUALLY disconnect it from your computer, meaning push the little eject button by the ipod tab. it normally ejects automatically when you have it set to update automatically. just like anything else you plug into your usb port, if you don't stop the power to it first, you run the risk of frying it!

iTunes only allows for a one way transfer of music from your computer to your iPod. But what if you want to move music to another authorized computer? What if you want to make a backup of your music? What if your computer crashes and you lose all of the music on your computer? What if you buy a new computer and need to move your music? After my hardrive crashed how do I load the music on the IPOD back into iTunes?
Im not too humble to ask for help in order to learn something new but the hard drive I had iTunes on is gone. If I download iTtunes again and plug in my IPOD in will I loose my data on the IPOD? This is what happend last time with the old hardrive before it crashed. I had to download iTunes again, when I plugged in the IPOD it wiped it clean. What am I doing wrong here?

you have itunes automaticlly synchronizing itunes library and your ipod.
apple disabled the ipod download feature because they were scared in their pants of the
RIAA 'mos.
you can easily find other sources to move songs on and off your ipod.

Plug it into your computer, open up itunes and wait until it's fully charged.
Your ipod will show up in itunes- double click on your ipod and you'll see a list of all the songs. right click on the songs you wish to remove and select delete (or clear, whatever comes up)
That should work.
