can my "tank" be giving ich to my fish, my LFS has not been having trouble and Im dating her daughter so she is pretty ligit with me!! but if I remove all my fish for a month will the ick go away, or will it live on in the live rock/ live sand/ with the crabs, this is really confusing me and the only awnser i have been getting is "HYPO" which i have a base understanding for. but will this cure my display tank of caring ick, I relize I cant hypo the display due to the live rock, but does live rock carry ick? please advice as this is starting to agravate me....
thank you all so much, u have saved me plunty of times befor I appriciate it

Leaving the display Fishless for a minimum of 4 weeks preferably 6, will rid the display tank of ich. As long as the fish that are introduced back into the display do not have ich, then you shouldn't have a problem.

I too am suffering through this. When my QT tanks is ready I will be putting my fish in there...but will the inverts (snails, clams, crabs, shrimp) or even the corals (mushrooms, and something else with a big name I forgot) host the ich? Let me know thanks
