How do I get rid of theese?

I wish I could get a picture but I cant, My buddy said they are bad for my tank. They are a dark dark purple almost looks brown...tentacle looking things growing from my rocks and I had a green star polyp frag and one started growing out of the frag and killed it. How can I kill theese things? would any shrimp help? its a 10g...I've had 2 cleaners die on me so I am done with them, and my levels are fine and weekly water changes...I heard maybe a fire shrimp? or pepp.

glass anemonee get a needle with joes juice, boiling water, or kwalskar calcium and ingect it into the foot and it will die. The kill fish and coral alike

Get your self a couple of perppermint shrimp. You have Aptasia(aka, glass) anemones, which are a pest. Do no attempt to kill them by smashing or cutting them up etc, it will cause them to spread faster. If you want to try the injection method, you can also use lemon juice concentrate, make sure you inject into the tube or foot if you can get to it. But injections are very hard if the aptasia are small, they won't stay still for you to stick them.

Right now I have no shrimp, I have 2 clowns and plan to get one more fish, a blenny or gobby, would it be over crowded with a fire and pepp. shrimp? or should I just go with the pepp. shrimp. I want theese pest gone. They're growing to big.

I'd get two. If you are anything like me, I bought two, and one passed the first day. The second ate both asp I had on a frag of zoos.

You usually want peppermints but a specific kind. Lymsata Wurdemani is the "brand" that you are looking for. They have a closely related cousin that is Lysmata Rathbunae. The only difference between the two is the L Rathbunae have black tails (like an off gray or black) and usually won't touch aiptasia. It's a good idea to reference the scientific names so you can judge them apart by thier tails.

They should be much cheaper then cleaners. I can get them for $6 a piece. If you order them online sometimes you can get them even cheaper. I have a couple in each tank and they certainly take care of the glass anemones and then they will eat any left over food.

It is aiptasia if it looks like this (mine are not as dark because they don't get much light or food):
