how do i get the under gravel filter out?

I want to get the under gravel filter out of my tank and go to complete sand, any suggestions on how to do this without tearing the hole tank setting up? It may be harder than i thought and impossible to do. but i regret usiing crushed coral, instead of sand help help help!!!!! :help:

imho it would be safer to tear down. you dont want to harm any tank mates

here let me bust another bubble you probably need to get it out asap you are gonna have detris biuld up under all that and have a hellatious time getting it under controle
