how do i keep air bubbles out

well my hang on over flow is always pushing air down into my refugium. how can i stop it from doing this. has anyone else had this problem.

Is there any air in your U tube? It could also be the tube running down to your refugium is to large allowing air to mix with water. And your water level might be to low.
