Started seeing bristle worms in my 14G Biocube. Tank is one year old. Lots of coral- 3 fish and a starfish. Bought a "Trap'em" device in store. Gets 3-4 worms each night. Panicked that I'm not doing enough. Please assist.

Bristle worms provide a great clean up crew. Don't get rid of them they are not bad.

I have problems with bristle worms on my corals. This is the only place I have ever heard that bristle worms are not bad. They are good cleaners as juveniles, but when they get older they can chew through you coral. Every time my star polyps do not open, I find a bristle worm somewhere on the base. The traps work or you could get an arrow crab if you don't have any other shrimp or feather dusters. They eat all that stuff.

Big +1 for me too

Although i have a standing rule, If i see them in the open, I catch them and dispose of them. I use a pair of Stainless steel hemostats. They are tricky little guys, they feel you coming.

Fireworms eat corals. They look like bristleworms.
