How do I rid Protozoan Velvet

:help: I have Protozoan Velvet in my 120 reef....
I'm going to QT my fish but how long do i need to wait before I put my fish back in??
I'm also leaving my Fire Gobies in there because they don't seem to have it.... bad move??

How do you know that you have velvet? Can you post up symptoms and, ASAP, if you can, pictures.
How do you plan to treat this? Copper treatment is the standard treatment, and, it requires a 3 wk course.

Do all the fish have these spots? Have you added new fish?
Its really hard to say from that picture, but I would not say that that is velvet.
Are the fish flashing, rubbing or gill rapidly? Are the gills swollen and read? Labored breathing?

All of the above....it looks more like Ich now since i'm treating with copper... they were covered with big white spots this morning.. when I arrived home from work tonight they have shrunk almost double from what it was.... I did add new fish to the tank right about the time my Hippo started showing spots..

Other than my Fire gobies all the fish have it!

I see spots, but it doesn't really look familiar. It may just be the quality of the picture.
