Here is my set up, I am trying to figure out how to cut the flushing noise.
Any help would be great!

My overflow does this when the tube into my sump has a loop in it lower than the top of the sump (if that makes any sense). Adjusting the tube so it goes more or less directly into the sump stops it from happening.

so the tube from the overflow has to be farther into the sump? I was confused on what you are trying to say.

O.K. Here's the deal non-drilled tanks can be noisy. But if you put A BAR TOWEL OR A THICK TOWEL ON THE OVERFLOW you shouldbe good to go!

ok after looking over the durso standpipe directions. I am not really sure what the Elbow part is used for? Is this for the water in the back of the overflow to go into then down into my sump? th

The stockman design is fine for this app. No need to change it to durso. Did you make that standpipe? It may be that the holes in the riser pipe are not big enough to allow enough water in. The water rises, then it "flushes" whenever enough pressure is gained. Also, like Acrylic51 stated it can be the air inlet. As well as backpressure in the drain pipe. Post up a pic of the drain line. TRy opening up the holes a tad more in the standpipe, and try plaing with the air inlet.
