Hold it to a very bright light while still in the bag. If You have already put it in the tank move it close to the glass and use a flash light with fresh batteries . You should see some movement it might take a few minutes of closely watching it.
On the down side if it dies in your tank it will start to decompose and will raise your amonia and nitrates.

You may not be able to see the actual body of the shark move.
Use mitzel's flashlight technique, but aim the flashlight at the sharks head and look for gill movement.

I would say to keep a sharp eye on it . and watch your water perameters if they start to rise check everything else but it could have died. although I highly doubt it while they are in the egg they are well protected.

I wouldnt tamper with the egg too much, People kept telling me to hold it to the light, but there isnt any need to, Once you put it in your tank, and the lights go off, wait a little while and sometimes it will move rapidily inside its egg. I remember my shark egg, the shark itself would move rapidly in the egg once the lights went out. That is also how they are usually born, during the night.
