how do iget the inflow to match the out flow on my wet/dry?

I am finally I the set up stage for my first tank after months of prep. I have everything up and running, but the wet dry pumps out more water than it takes in. I was wondering how I can correct this. Thank you in advance.

What type of setup? Is it predrilled or overhang?

You need to make sure your sump pump is rated lower than your overflow rating.

it is a Pro Clear Aquatics 125 w an overhand. the pump that came w it is a Cataline 2200.
Is the pump to strong?
