How do snails have sex??

:D I know most will say "nice and slow" but seriously...
I just bought 30 Black Mexican Turbo Snails and within a few hours I had a literal orgy of snails all clustered together on the bed of my tank. I had Cerith snails and Bumblebee snails all mixed in touching so I assumed either they're mating or killing each other.
Anyone know what's going on with this??

:happyfish Hi, mating for sure. They don't kill each other. I'm not sure how they mate, but I've seen snail eggs before, so they lay eggs- that I know. Hope they made some babies for ya, that's always nice to have more snails. Good luck, ali

All the snails I have received from here have clustered when I unpacked them and stayed clustered throughout the acclimation process and until they were in the tank for a few hours.
