how do u guyz/galz do it??

:notsure: well i have a digital camara... i tried to take pic of my fowlr tank but i cant get a good pic.. how do u guyz take such good pic????

The "trick" is to take hundreds of thousands of pic of the same thing...over and over..
Keep changing the settings as you shoot...focus, flash, white balance, resolution...
Keep shooting, shooting, shooting...
Then ONLY post the "Good" ones....

Fish are pretty challenging for me to take pics of. You either have to catch them at a moment they are not flying around, or shoot a pic of them whith the flash on. I can usually get a pretty still pic with the flash, but it doesn't look as nice as with the flash off.
As for corals, I just turn the pumps off so they sit still...hehe
Lastly, I do what Squidd said. Take hundreds of pics, and then just post the nice ones...hehe

Like Squidd said, take lots and lots of pictures and change the settings until you get the feel for the camera. Fish are one of the most difficult IMO. This pic took a lot of wasted shots to get and I'm still not really satisfied with it.

just like "SQUIDD" take a ton of pics and see which ones come out the best but a tripod also helps out alot

I don't use a flash, and the macro mode on my camera comes in handy even on non-macro shots. And something to lean your hand on to keep steady is good, or just a tripod.

ok back to me... he he... so it's not just the camara i c... but more on wasting time... ahhh i c ic ic.... too bad my damn fish are way too active... i kinda trained them to be... so.. ( i tap the glas a lil befor i feed them every time, now they come when i tap.. and yes every time..) but they swim like mad... they never stop.. unless sleeping.. but when they sleep they hide in their caves....ehh i guess the digital gonna get worked on some..
