After cutting or fragging a xenia, how do you attach it to a rcok?
What kind? I had success gluing the pom pom xenia but not so much with the red sea.
A Cowfish said, string will work as well.

Usually I don't cut them. Instead I sit another rock up against it, and within a few days it will move onto the new rock. But if you have cut/fragged it, take a toothpic and stick it thru the lower part of the stalk, so the toothpic sticks out on both sides. Then you can glue or tie the ends of the toothpic to a frag disc or rock, whatever you want. When it has attached to your desired surface, slide the toothpic out.

easiest method I've discovered is to bury the base of the xenia in sand, give it a day or two and the base of the xenia will actually attach to the sand. Gently pull the xenia out of the sand, you'll see that the base will be encrusted with sand particles, then just add a drop of superglue to the sand thats attached to the base of the xenia and then just glue the base to whatever you want, works everytime. I think somewhere in my posting history I have a thread with pictures on this type of fragging technique.

I have some crawling up my glass - can I razor-blade it off and attach it afterwards?
(sorry - hijacking!)

Cut in half with a razor blade and get it out of your tank. Its a weed that should be wiped out. It does look nice until you want to put SPS, LPS and anything else in your tank. Make sure it doesn't get on your LR otherwise it a PIA to get rid of. Unless you plan on keeping only softies then make sure you keep them off of everything.

Sure... but why take it off? Nice background don't you think?
Yeah....if it wasn't on the front glass!! (Of course it won't co-operate and go on the back!)
