How do you attach your frags to your LR?

I picked up some frags this past weekend, and wondering how you attach your frags(plugs) to your existing LR/Reef. Right now they're just wedged in my LR, but they tent to blow around a bit, and a few have fell onto my sand bed.

You can use super glue (gel) or expoxy but dont use the epoxy on acros as it will cause the acro to die at the base and spread up if it isnt healthy enough. You can just place it in a crevice and let it grow within the crevice.

Like the above poster said, either super glue gel or epoxy (I use the marine epoxy you can pick up at the local hardware store). I have used epoxy for about 20 frags and I have never had the base die off from the use of epoxy and most have encrusted over it within 2-3 weeks.

i also use epoxy to attach sps frag to my lr.

cyanoacrylate gel (superglue krazy glue etcetera in gel form) . or "rector seal" two part epoxy, available at most hardware stores. those are the only things I use. (I almost never use the epoxy because I hate the way it looks)

my frags come on marshal type branches.. 1.5" or so in length.. can I put crazy gel on that, and put in water and stick to rock? Will it cure as soon as it hits the water, or leach if it's not cured?
That's my question I guess.

I have not tried it but guys use superglue gel underwater. They put some on the rock underwater that they want and let it cure (not sure how long). Then put a dab on the frag and immediately attach it to the superglue dab underwater. The gel will form a skin and you push the frag which pops the skin and hold for 30 seconds or so.
Please correct me if I'm wrong here guys.

I attached a Green sinulari to a rock by pushing a toothpick through it and then using elastics to secure the toothpick to the rock.

So.. if I have a frag that has been glued to a small piece of LR, I can put glue on that piece of LR, and put it into the water and not cause any problems. I'm assuming if I don't make it in time, it will just harden and not stick, but I was worried about putting not cured SuperGlue into my tank.
Would that be ok?

just make sure its the gel kind

gel wont cure nearly as fast as regular crazy glue.

I picked up 9 frags over the weekend and curious now of how close or far away to put them from my lights.
I have 2 - 10k MH 175W and 2-96W Atinics..
I got some Polies, Rics, Zoos, shroom, Monti and Birdsnest. Which should I glue closest to my lights and which should I keep on my sandbed??

Here is a copy and paste from a post I replied to just last week.
Warren ..............as follows;
I too have had these issues with both types of Adhesives, they just did not stick well.
My best way I have found is to use the gel type super glues as two step process.
First get a "glob" imbedded firmly in to the Live rock with a prong of some type, toothpicks of whatever works. For me it is my fimger tip. Then once you are sure it is going to stay and starts setting up, quickly apply another smaller glob to the frag. Then just simply glue the one spot of glue to the other spot of glue. For some reason this method works well for me. The gluing glue to glue seems to always hold better than just trying to get a frag with glue on it to stick in place. Hope that all made sense.
In addition any model buider know even though most stores do not refrigerate Super Glue. Keep it in the fridge. I buy mine at the Dollor Store 2 pack for a buck. Also I don't scrimp on the amount of glue, one frag equals using one tube. Doing it this way you can glue most any Frag in place at any location with a little practice.
