curious if you dump it outside?
---does it poison your back yard?
Do you dump it in the sink?
---is it bad for the septic system?

I put a drain in the floor below the tank, drain leads outside the house where it is connected to a gutter, and gutter is piped below ground leading out to the woods.

i dump mine in the back yard.
it doesnt seem to bother the grass.
i talked to the septic guy where he was here and he said it will mess up the bio in the system.

Large amounts of salt will kill grass, can damage concrete, as well as mess up your septic (technically), but generally we are not dumping out hugh quantities at the time so there is very minimum impact. No worries...

I send mine to the woods because, I can. I designed this in when I built the house, and also, my water changes average 25 - 30 gals at a time, more than most people.

Have you ever heard of 'salting the earth'? If you dump saltwater in the same location and it isnt washed away, after a period of time nothing will be able to grow there.
I dump it in the toilet.

LOL...depends on the tank
54g out the window into yard
29g into a bucket and then down the toilet (septic)
225g run a line into the laundry drain...(so septic also)

I bet you get odd looks from your neighbours.
When I lived in an apartment I would drain the water through a piping system to a bucket on the balcony. At night it would pump over the balcony. After 10 years of doing this the grass wasn't growing there so well.
