How do you feed your fish with a powerhead or skimmer moving the top of the water? Won't flakes just go everywhere with them on? Do you turn them off when you feed them?

Here is a trick i've learned... and im sure some others have caught on as well...
When feeding flakes in saltwater with a overflow - Take a pinch of flakes into your fingers and dip the flakes a inch or so under the waters surface and wiggle them for a second. They will become waterlogged and will not float... and there will be no clogging filters in your overflow =c)
I have a skimmer/overflow/2powerheads/return pump all on when I feed my fish.. they get the food just fine :)

I use a little turkey baster and a plastic cup. I get some water out of the tank and let the food soak in it and then squeeze it in my tank. They get all the food. Plus this way gyou can spot feed if you need to. Works for me should work for you.

I do the "pinch & dip" too...with all jets, etc. running full blast. The fish dart all around & get every last bit!
