thank you very much, but i forgot to mention the tank has only been running for a month. Is that a normal ammonia level for a tank that fresh? Also, when should I do my first water change?
Sounds like you're still cycling. Have you tested the water regularly? This may or may not be the ammonia spike that normally would occur. Hold off on any water change for the time being
Do you have any LR or livestock? You need something in the tank to create an ammonia spike in order for it to go down. Also, what kind of test kit are you using? Some may give false readings.
HI there, this tank has been set up for 1 month. Its a via aqua 40 gallon with the filteration built in the top like the eclipse tanks. No water changes yet..
