How do you get out of tickets?

I have gotten out of many tickets in my 3 years of driving....
here are a few ways...all tried and true.
Have liscense and reg ready! Know why he was stopping you, And play a classic rock station (they love it)
Have a rock hard story as to why you were doing what you were doing.....
"sorry sir, I was supposed to be home 30 minutes ago and I did not want to get in deep with my parents, I apologize I know i was going a little too fast"
The best...
When getting pulled over on the highway, ALWAYS wait until you can exit before pulling over. Dont go to the side of the highway, that is dangerous.....No matter how long until the next exit ALWAYS exit.
Why you may ask? When the officer asks why did it take you so long to stop you reply.....
I have seen alot of high way incidents on TV and i know you have a tough job already So i did not want to make it even more dangerous for you...sir :-D
(this is more of a respect thing than a method of getting out of a ticket)
Anyone else got stories?

not going to post a reply to the direct topic, but am going to advise a moment here.
Whenever on the high way, TURN ON YOUR TURN SIGNAL and go the nearest exit. IF it si dark, or questionable areas, go to a safe place before stopping, an open mall, grocery store, gas station or something like that, ESPECIALLY(NO OFFENCE GIRLS) IF YOU ARE A WOMAN. Not only is the officers job dangerous, but so is it dangerous to not do this for your own safety. It is not an every day occurance but things do happen, such as geting pulled over by what you think is an officer of the law. No offence to those who serve and protect us loyally and at their own risk either. But, it has happened. IF you turn on your turn signal first, and they do give you a hassle, they more than likely wont ticket you for evasion. But your safety is more important, in fact, I know in Pa that it is law as well as courtesy, AS LONG AS YOU TURN ON YOUR TURN SIGNAL AND SLOW DOWN. And even if an offecer does cite you for evasion(likely he/she wont) that charge could be fought and easily won. NO ONE would blame you for thinking safety.

My roomate got a ticket, went to court, asked when the last survey was done on the road...he got out of the ticket. I guess it had been like 15 years or something. I guess roads are suppose to be surveyed every five years in cali in order to maintain their speedlimit rating. Luckily one of our friends is a CHP :D We all have courtesey cards from him, but my friend had used two already and had no more.

once i got pulled over for speeding and i wasnt wearing my seatbelt the officer asked me about the seatbelt and i said it was stuck and wouldnt pull out. he asked why it was stuck and i told him my son stuck a sandwich in it. he shined his light in it there was the dried bread. he looked kind of impatient told me to get it fixed and let me go.

Hubby is a criminal investigator w/ the ATF. So when I get pulled I apologize for speeding, didnt realize how fast I was going until I saw you behind me. Say my husband is gonna kill me for getting a ticket then give them his business card. They always smile, tell me to slow it down & have a nice day:D

So when I got pulled over last weekend at 1:30 in the morning for an incomplete stop. And when the cop got within less than a car length of the car, I should not have hit the brake. Even through I was not drunk, and doing the speed limit and he was crawling up my ass. And when he turned on his lights, I should not have found a spot where both cars could pull over. And I shouldn't have turned on my hazards killed the engine, turned on the ******** light and got my license and registration ready. I shouldn't have rolled down my window and placed my hands on top of the wheel. And when the cop came up to the window and asked my what I did wrong. I shouldn't have said "I am not certain officer." which I wasn't. "Incomplete stop back there." Me: "Really, I am new to this neighborhood and I didn't see a stop sign back there." and truthfully I didn't. So you are saying by doing all of that I should not have gotten that 60 dollar ticket just as the last one was about to come off my record from three years ago. Tell me truthfully what did I do wrong except for be tired from being up since seven that morning and wanting to get home and sleep as fast as I can.
:notsure:
I know it was because I failed to pull the keys out of the ignition and place them on the dash. Sorry I am still I little torqued about that whole situation.

I give it to my wife (attorney) who gets me off with a reduced fine and supervision. No driving school for me! I don't even go to court.

Cops are just doing thier job..no reason to be pissed off if and when u do get a ticket. It happens to everyone sooner or later, if they chose to drive around half asleep or drunk, or disregaurding the laws of the roads... not only is one endangering thier own life but the lives of innocent others.
My sisterinlaw was killed while pregnant in 1988 when a semi driver fell asleep at the wheel and crossed the centerline..slamming into her car head on. I wish he would have been pulled over by a cop..about half a mile back up the road for running a stop sign.

I have gotten out of a few tickets because my father is the Fire Marshal in my township and knows all the cops. I never bring it up though when I get pulled over but the cop usually puts two and two together when they see my liscense.

My point wasn't that I did wrong. I did wrong. I will pay the ticket. My point was that the cop was ignoring my safety by climbing up my tailpipe. I know the reason I mad him mad was by tapping my brakes. I also know the cops in my town are responsible for several accidents. They irresponsible, inconsiderate, and often biased. Their numbers are double what they need to be. So I believe I am in the right to be mad.
The other point was that no matter how hard you try you will still get a ticket.

This works everytime I use it.....SERIOUSLY! It's gross, but it beats getting a ticket.
The cop will most likely ask if there's a medical emergency. Tell them that it's a personal emergency and if you don't get to a rest room in a matter of minutes, you will soil yourself!!!! Explain to them that you have IBS or bladder control problems!! I PROMISE you, you won't get a ticket. It's also a good idea to pull into the nearest gas station and run to the rest room.
