How do you get those anenomys to stay still...

Heh, i was wondering if anyone could tell me how they get there anenomys to stay in one spot. For some odd reason my anenomy goes to the corner of the tank and doesnt dig in, just kinda hangs out there. How do those guys in the LFS get those anenomies to stay on the LR? Do you have to trap it in with LR or what?

You don't, anenomes go wherever they feel like going. If the current in the spot you want the anenome to be is too strong or to weak, then it will move until it finds a space in the tank it likes. My green tip sebae has moved from one side of the tank to the totally opposite side. Let your anenome decide where it wants to go...do not try to force it to stay where you want it too! Believe me....they have a mind of their own!!! :D

Well I don't know all that much, but I do know that my first anemone died because every time it moved from where I put it, I would try to move it back. It died not to long after.
From what I have heard, You should find a place in the tank (not too close to any power head) and with good lite. and place a live rock there. Then when you get the anemone place it on the rock it should start to stick.I hear that they only move when trying to find better home. (give it the best home you can when first adding)
When I got my replacment anemone( purple tip) I placed it near a rock with good lite and LEFT IT ALONE. it has done great :D
If any one neds to correct me please do so

Welp, I posted this is another,
But only 5% of anemone's in captivity live to
2 years. These are people with 2-5 years
experience with reef tanks as well.
Average person has anemone's living no longer
than 3-7 months.
My first anemone died in 2 days (Was sucked
up my powerhead and I woke up to cloudy
water)
I have 2 bubbletip anemone's now. They both
move all over the tank. However, if they
wedge themselves into a spot with no light
whatsoever, I move the rock myself after a
day and put it in a different spot. That's
the prob with bubbletips. They move ALOT.
