Now that my tank is up and running the glass on the outside is quite dirty and the glass top needs to be cleaned on the inside and outside? What do you guys use? Vinegar? Only water? Is the vinegar safe to use on the inside of the glass top?
I just use plain water to clean the tops. Dry cloth to wipe down display or once in a great while I use glass cleaner (sprayed on cloth away from tank)
I only use water (a damp cloth). For the outside, newspapers are good. Glass cleaners contain ammonia
Even a hint of it & your fishies are not going to like it. Get a magnet cleaner for the inside. If that won't get it, scrape it with a credit card or razor blade.
