How do you light your Hex?

my latest project is a 35g Hex.

i plan on making it full reef, with MH/pc/moon.
i wondering what would be a good light bar for this, what is a good wattage to look for?
i know the wattage rule isnt perfect, but this is more deep than any other dimension, so higher wattage, should penetrate deeper, no?
i was also curious on how some of you pros of gone about attaching these lights to the top of your tank?
are they on stilts, with each leg on different pane?
did you pick opposing planes and have it sit perpendicular, yet on an angle to the tank when looking head on?

Not a hex tank, but a buddy made this arm for a corner bow for me. HE does requests.

thats nice, but i am looking for 'on-the-tank' examples. i have the hex on furniture sliders, so the tank is movable.
