How do you make mushrooms stick to rocks?

Last week I thought my mushrooms were dead. They shriveled up and two of them fell off their rock. They're currently lying on the bottom. So I did a waterchange and added Chemi-pure to my filter, and they began to open back up.
The two on the bottom actually look better than the ones on the upper rockwork, but I can't imagine them living long down there. They're on the sand and there isn't a whole lot of light getting to them.
So, how can I stick them back on the rock, or should I just leave them alone?

Get something in your tank where they will be kept from floating away. I use a plastic sponge holder the you find in walmart. No metal. Put it in there with several small rocks or rubble. leave it for 2 weeks or so. Then glue the epoxy where you want.

I rubberband mine to rocks. 90% of the time they stay, if its too tight or too loose sometimes the mushroom can pop out. Works pretty well IMO. Goodluck

The ones that fell off aren't very big, maybe 1/2 inch or so.
The rubber band won't squish it? One just got stomped on by my coral banded shrimp and it shriveled back up. lol

you can try using bridal veil mesh. just place the mushroom between it and a rock. rubberband the mesh tight, but not tight enough to squish the shroom. give it about 2 weeks. viola.

3 options
1) use bridal veil and secure the entire frag to a rock like isitius mentioned
2) toss it in a blender and spread the remains all over your tank and see what happens
3) squish the shroom into the sand, let it attach to some sand substrate and then use superglue and attach it to a plug

Loose shrooms get lost in the flow. Secure them or you may loose them.

Use a small juice glass and put a few pieces of small rubble in it.Sit the glass back in a corner away from flow and stick in the mushrooms,they will attach in a week or 2. Your shrooms up top may not look as good because they are probably in a lot of flow,they will live there but wont expand nearly as much as when in low flow.

Thanks, I think I'll try this one since I don't have a bridal veil handy.
A shot glass should be big enough for this little guy.

i just cut most of my shrooms in 1/4 and put them in a specimen jar at the bottom of the tank with some sand in it. they are just about ready to get glued to the rock.
the bridal veil, the mesh that people wrap little baby/bridal shower things in, and even those stockings that you find in shoe stores work great though as well.
