How do you plumb a tank

hey its been a while guys how is every 1
well this is my hand in the tank again wish me luck and please can i have some constuctive critisisim
Q 1.does anyone know of a step by step thread of plumbing a tank cause im a real noob at plumbing and i dont want any leaking at all
Yes i plan to have 2 good over flows
i like the clear ones with the big sponge that kinda filters or strains the water kinda almost like a filter sock
Q 2.does anyone know the names of the good over flows that are cost effective?????
well im planning to do 2 29 gallon tanks under my 125 gallon fowlr tank in which i plan to have a clown trigger and a bamboo shark and also an emperor Angel.
the angel will probably go in first and then the mild clown trigger, with some hermits, and some kind of sand goby, snails, etc, and yes im aware of what MAY happen to all the stock because of the trigger and the shark but ive did some research and there attitudes vary from fish to fish
Q 3. I left my sand in a big rubbermaid bucket in a storage shed for quite some time im sure its still okto use but it still wouldnt be alive would it????
Q 4. what are the best things to clean out aquariums wit????
its been a while....
any more advice would be awesome

hey thanks alot man, its my 1st bachelor pad and i wanna go all out
but all the tanks wont be salt
im not sure what i wanna do with the 55 gallon and the 40 gallon along side of the 125 but the 29 in my dinning room is a hospital tank
and the 75 is the reef tank
and the 125 is the fowlr
in the 125 i want a clown trigger a emperor angel and a spotted bamboo or stripped bamboo shark!!!

yes I got that plastic up on the window behind it to keep the cold out
It dosent look good now but it will be better looking when everything is done

Plumbing is really a case by case basis, to avoid leaks just make sure your use alot of teflon tape on threaded things, and use rain and shine on slide in plumbing joints, let it set and you should be fine. If it is a

[hr]
fitting, use a hose clamp. If you can test everything outside so you can see if you have leaks, makes life alot easier.

I purchased one from lifereef, it is high quality and never had a problem loosing syphon ect. I found mine on this classified section and am very happy with it.

Did it have circulation? And was the temp somewhat stable?

Sorry to tell you but you are not suppose to put triggers and angels in with sharks but good luck with it, Hope it works out.

hey tanks alot for the info and helpful hints stdreb that helps alot, but i really doubt ill be able to test the pvc out side
but that is a great idea
i didnt know you couldnt put sharks with trigs and angels
ive got a plan on how to do it i just hope it works!!!!
